1966 Rare Series 4700 Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in New Cognac Leather Lighting These examples date to 2003This is a Model 4700 Easy Chair, initially designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1965. This example was produced in Denmark in ca. 1966. It features a solid beech frame and has been newly reupholstered in a fine cognac leather. It has exposed mortise and tenon joints on the edges of the arms, as well as under the seat of the piece. The cognac leather jives beautifully with the patinated frame, which we have intentionally left in its original
