C. 1949 George Nakashima for Knoll N19 Straight Dining / Side Chair Birch Wood Lighting There are three incised circlesThis is a N19 Straight Back Chair, originally designed by George Nakashima for Knoll in 1946. This particular example dates to 1949. The Straight Back Chair was Nakashimas modern, minimalist take on the Windsor chair. The chair measures 17. 75 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and 30. 25 inches high with a seat height of 16. 75 inches. This piece does show wear consistent with use, but overall is in good to very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
