Tsurushi toro is a type of lantern that hangs from the ceiling of a Buddhist altar to illuminate what is inside. Made of a gorgeous thin layers of metal, it features a mixture of cloud, water, and dragon designs. There is a little viewing door that can open. It is lined with washi paper on the inside.
