The Brilliance of Rebirth ornament This work of art wasIn our Mayan worldview, the rhombusor diamondis part of our sacred iconography. Among its many meanings, it symbolizes the connection between the sky, the earth, and the underworld. I chose to include it in my portrait to represent how, within ourselves, we too can inhabit these three worlds.
