AVAILABLE - Dark and Deep (30x40") to the trees and toThis painting was named for the line in a Robert Frost poem: "The woods are lovely, dark and deep" It provides the perspective of looking into a forest and seeing layer upon layer of trees fading into the distance. The trees are bare of leaves, leaving a simple composition which, paradoxically, invites contemplation. Mixed media: acrylic and latex paints, spray paint, and liquid asphalt (rubberized). Painted on cradled birch panel.
