Sunset along the Beach in Oregon Size:18"x24" Upon arriving in Golden I

Upon arriving in Golden I was treated to a fresh blanket of snow and plenty of holiday lights

While living there for a few months during the fall I hiked up part of the hill to the east of the city to capture the fall colors changing around the University of Montana

The detail you find in a church is quite remarkable

This didn't last long however as some a whale was spotted in Lahaina Harbor quickly changing the focus of everyone

Sunset along the Beach in Oregon Size:18"x24" Upon arriving in Golden II spent some time along the Oregon Coast in the southern part of the state one February. During this time I found an open beach and did some long exposure photography at sunset to capture the motion of the water as it came onto the shore. At low tide there was plenty of opportunity to try different angles, however with that there was also the challenge of the tripod sinking in the wet sand.
