A WINTER SCENE FROM THE PRAIRIE TURKEYS Longs peak and pagoda mountainWe graciously received 2 3 inches of snow from the powers above overnight, so I set out in the morning to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this 2nd day of the New Year. The temperature was in the mid 20's with little to no wind and overcast conditions. After photographing the creek, I moved on through the park admiring the scenic views that winter has brought.
