"The Lunch Break" Key West Series I framed two larger Artist’sI discovered Coney Island in Oklahoma City during the years when I was exhibiting there at the Festival of the Arts. Finding it to be a true slice of Americana, I created The Lunch Break to celebrate its history and distinctive decor, including perfect dinette style tables and chairs as well as yellowed posterboard schedules of Oklahoma University football back to the 1940s.
