For a while I stood in this location and watched it change as the sun went behind the clouds on this early September day

on this evening I did just that and after walking a few miles still didn't come across the plows just the work they left behind

I headed to the back which allowed me to get close to the water

Sunrise Shapes Presentation:Print Only For a while I stoodWalking around the sand dunes of Death Valley National Park gives the opportunity to experience varying conditions with the light and shadows of the surface. While walking across the hardpan between sand dunes I looked towards the sunrise and noticed how the early light was illuminating the surface. To photograph this contrast I got a little lower and also found a line in the hardpan to bring your eye into the scene and towards the sunlight.
