It is exposed in one of the best positions, facing south, south east. The subsoil is a mix of marl and limestone; followed by iron elements which help give the rich colored wine. The RUGIENS has robust and perfumed characteristics hinting on licorice and violet. Its considered as a strong tannic wine with a lengthy palate. A wine that can last at least 10 years with correct cellaring.
